The Watchdog II is designed with the Honda CR125 (RS125) 2-stroke engine in mind and will work on other, similar engines, and is a highly accurate knock sensor device.   It is easy to hook up and use.   Just mount with provided fasteners/mounting, route the wires, turn it on, make a run, check the number of detonations, and then push the button to reset the counter.   It doesn't get much easier.

Here's what it can do for you:

INSTALLING THE WATCHDOG II KNOCK METER

Mount the controller/display box so that the driver can see easily, using the provided fasteners.   Mount the knock sensor to the engine, as near the combustion chamber as possible with the provided fastener or mount directly to the cylinder head by replacing the head acorn nut with the special adapter (included).   Mount the battery pack with four AA batteries (not included) to any clean, flat surface with the high-bond strength foam tape that is affixed to the back of the battery pack.   You now have the option to use your own battery source (lead-acid, etc.) or the supplied 4-AA battery holder.   Any detonation will be picked up by the Watchdog II and displayed on the LED event counter.   You may evaluate the tune, based on the number of detonations.
